The latest addition to the Shizuku R2 and Chiku line, Fujin (風神) is another highly praised and bold design from talented young master Yu Kurosaki (黒崎優). Fujin means the God of Wind in Japanese, and the strokes on the blade matches the theme exceptionally well, and as all Kurosaki knives, the Fujin cuts exceptionally well.
The Fujin comes in two versions - one with Aogami (Blue paper steel) Super core that is more for professional use due to the high hardness of the steel; another one with VG10 steel core.
VG10 steel is much more friendly for home use as it is stainless that requires minimum maintenance only, and easier to sharpen yet still with good edge retention.
I am very happy to offer them to my fellow K&S customers.
