
Yoshikazu Tanaka is a highly regarded master blacksmith in Sakai. With more than 50 years of experience under his belt, he is among the most elite group of iconic masters like Kenji Togashi, Yoshikazu Ikeda and Itsuo Doi.
With Konosuke Fujiyama FM as his most famous works, Tanaka-san is well known for his excellent heat treatment and his forging skills. Knives made by him are featured with a wavier cladding line between the hagane and jigane, and often has more core steel exposed.
